RESILLIENCE
“We have indeed made whatever is on earth as an adornment for it, in order to test which of them is best in deeds” Quran(18:7).
The focus is of RESILIENCE: a core message that there is always more to what meets the eye in the face of adversity. Highlighting the result of our recycling design to give thought to a situation that at face value seems to be of “waste” but in truth was the catalyst to a new success. Pointing hints to what the clothes were, compared to what they have become. Peering at the full story of and the beauty of the process of change! Composition also being a part of the theme of change was present in the cycled model walk and in the depositing of garments in the center of the stage as the show progressed. A decision that takes place from within, just as the choice for personal style does, is one of influence by perspective. Resilience was the perspective of persistence in all forms of it. In working for something better, and in making the best from what is with you.

This collection follows our continuation in the pursuit of excellence. Always searching to make a "NU" way with that which may befall us. Designed from our 100% sustainably sourced materials, we follow a story of ever changing conditions and how in each situation there is the BEST that can be achieved from it. It's only a matter of perspective, patience, and perseverance!

TILES
In the Quran Allah says “and remember when you lord proclaimed, “if you are grateful, I will certainly give you more, but if you are ungrateful, surely my punishment is severe”(14:7) TILES is NUBATI's first project of production. This is our first full step of gratitude, setting the foundation of true gratitude for what we are given. Gratitude extends past the large and grand gestures, Allah's prophet Muhammed ﷺ taught ".....the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little." In this collection we seek to extend that gratitude to the smaller things and display how those littles efforts can build a beautiful picture in the end! Adjacently we can see how lifes little moments all compile to make the grand of what we experience, how seemingly random events mesh to shape our reality and the wisdom that is displayed when they all come together.
A NUdge of GRATITUDE
“A NUDGE OF GRATITUDE” bolds the search of excellence in effort and the pursuit of more than what could be initially offered. An action of “gratitude”, a “gradation” of thoughts and efforts! Beyond the Foundation. Gratitude: a graduation in thought and elevation in action. In this study Nubati moves past the standard set by its past, moving into a new age and taking notes from what was learned and applying the best of its lessons. An inner feeling attached to the juvenile character materialized as streetwear designs conversing with sometimes bold sometimes subtle hints of business wear. An asymmetrical battle of both - and asymmetrical is the need for gratification in such a transition. It should be the standard to be grateful and excellence is the manifestation of such gratitude in every situation irregardless of ones circumstances. An inner peace, a weight relieved off of one’s shoulders.
